Recently, the list of the second Lake Xiang craftsmen was announced, and 100 outstanding skilled talents from various industries in Hunan Province were recognized. Among them, Wang Guoning, the chief engineer of Xiangxi State Fengda Alloy Technology Co., Ltd. in Xiangxi High-tech Zone, was elected.
Wang Guoning is the first senior engineer in the mechanical field in Xiangxi High-tech Zone. As the head of R&D and technology in the company, he has led a technological innovation team for many years, focusing on the development of high-tech materials such as manganese nitride, manganese-aluminum alloy, and forged manganese, with an annual production of 100,000 tons, making it the largest manganese-based new materials enterprise in China and achieving the highest global export value of 'manganese nitride'. He embodies the spirit of craftsmanship by promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manganese metal industry, and has been awarded titles such as Hunan Province Labor Model, Hunan Province Excellent Scientific and Technological Worker, and the first 'Wuling Talent' in Xiangxi Prefecture, as well as receiving multiple provincial and prefectural science and technology progress awards, holding 53 authorized patents.
It is understood that the provincial federation of trade unions has selected 100 Lake Xiang craftsmen this time, from which 10 'Outstanding Lake Xiang Craftsmen' will be chosen. The industries they belong to mainly cover high-tech manufacturing, high-quality service, new energy, new materials, next-generation electronic information, new biomedicine, and other industrial fields, with most of the elected individuals being employees engaged in production, technology, R&D, and other frontline positions.
